In a recent statement, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi affirmed that Mamata Banerjee continues to be an integral part of the India Alliance, and a majority of its members remain actively involved. Gandhi noted that Mamata Banerjee, along with several other members, remains dedicated to the goals of the India Alliance.
However, he acknowledged the departure of Nitish Kumar from the alliance, revealing that Kumar has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). While Gandhi did not delve into specific reasons for Kumar's departure, he hinted at the audience to infer the motivations behind such a political shift.
